Pours a murky lighter brown color with a small white head. Aroma is lots of hops, musty citrus hops. Flavor is very smooth and hoppy. A little lemon, and orange, with a nice malt backbone. Thanks to MikeMcallister for this one!

Hazy gold, oily off-white head. Huge piney nose, big hops. Flavor usually hoppy, quite punchy and citric with more pine as well. Sugary and stick in the malts.

Bottle at jeffc666’s Birthday Gathering. Courtesy of MilkmanDan. Hazed amber with a small white head. Nose is hoppy with light malt and faint caramel. Hopped up taste with oily and piney notes and a pleasant maltiness to balance it out. Body has a moderate carbonation feel to it along with some oily note and an obvious bitterness. Finish is very bitter hops and light malts.

Bottle sampled at jeffc666’s B-day gathering 2/6/05: Cloudy golden orange color with a medium white head. The aroma has a surprisngly fresh hops aroma considering it was bottled in the summer. The hops have probably toned down some in intensity, but there are still those nice fresh fruit, grass, leaves, and pine hops notes coming through. Tastes nicely bitter, with notes of grass, lemon, grapefruit, all hops. This does have a nice creamy and thick mouth feel to it.

Sampled at jeffc666’s gathering. Cloudy golden/orange with a nice white head. Aroma of big pine/spruce hops. Taste also has huge pine/hop/resin notes along with some caramel and the obvious grapefruit presence. Bitter lingering aftertaste. Very full, round and creamy. Nice stuff.

Poured a very hazy orange color with a large off white head. Aromas of peah, orange, grapefruit, and sweet malt. Flavor starts malty, then get some orange, mild grapefruit, and bitter finish. Meidum closing on full bodied and lightly syrupy. Finishes a little dry for such a big body.

Citrusy, fruity aroma, the orange peel compliments the orange character fo the Centennial hops nicely. Very cloudy light amber color, thick persistent white head. Very bitter, intensely hoppy flavor, a little malt and a hint of orange manage to peak through right beofre the finish, keeping it from being pure hop juice. Medium body, some hop-derived astringency that is always present in beers this bitter. Great IPA, very bitter, the orange peel and slight malt presence give it some complexity.
