| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 22, 2007 Bottle from miketd - thanks for another great Buckeye Brew! Pale golden color with a nice size white head. Big, fresh citrusy-floral hop aroma with a distinct malty character. Flavor is very citrusy with some other floral/sweet hop taste and a nice malty backing. Smooth flavor with a nice tingle. This one is certainly a "smaller" DIPA relative to most in the style, but it compares favorably to some regular Centennial IPAs I’ve tried, specifically from Founders and Sly Fox. Well done and quite tasty! MrBendo (1043), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA

Fair lacing. Aroma is citrus and tropical fruit, pine and pale malt sweetness. Taste is very citrusey; orange and grapefruit with a west coast balancing sweetness of sugary malt. Leaves an astringent feel on the back of your throat. Bitter finish with a bit of sweet fruit.
