RagallachMC (630), Cleveland, Ohio, USA Jul 18, 2007 Draft at the brewpub. Aroma: Strong toasted nuttiness, caramel, and toasted malt. Some herbal hop notes. Appearance: Dark brown in color and clear. Light khaki head was full and frothy with good retention. Fair lacing. Flavor: Lots of malt with notes of toasted nuts, caramel, chocolate. Hops come through with a touch of earthy herbalness. Medium-light bitterness and a dry finish. Palate: Medium bodied. Medium carbonation. Overall: A nice brown ale. Drinkable with some good flavor. Skyview (2777), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Jul 8, 2007 Sampled at the RBSG ’07 Grand Tasting room, pours a clear dark brown brew with a very thin off-white head that quickly dissolves. Aroma of light roasted chestnuts, caramel, and some flowery hops. Taste is lightly carbonated, medium bodied, with some caramel and roasted malt flavors.
