A pretty nice and spicy tast like a spice brew. I think it is pretty good. Thanks SS. beerbill (1953), Laurel, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 29, 2007 22 oz. bottle thanks to a trade with ogglethorp. Pours a hazy brown with some red highlights when held to a light. Thin off-white head that completely disappeared after the first sip. Pleasant aroma of caramel, brown sugar, candi sugar, and just a hint of dark fruits. Flavor is pretty much the same thing, although despite the sugar flavors, the beer is not that sweet. Short finish that was a tad thin as well. Cute label. bu11zeye (5470), Frisco, Texas, USA

Nose of plums, raisins, caramel, spices, and microflora (would have swore this was Jolly Pumpkin yeast in a blind tasting). Flavor of raisins, apple, plums, brett, and clove. Aroma of dark fruits, vanilla, Belgian spices, nuts and caramel. Flavors of the same, on the dry side. Lots of Belgian spices and caramelized malts. jmikolich (405), Athens, Ohio, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 15, 2007 Bottle... Label is kind of fun. Pours a dark brown with a finger or so of head that dies back very quickly. Aromas are of dark fruit, candi sugar and a touch of maybe some anise. Flavor is a nice mix of the above that comes off as well crafted and nicely balanced and complex enough for my tastes. b33r (363), Cleveland, Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 4, 2007 Brown color with small off-white head and no lacing. Overall a really weak beer. Faint malty aroma. Flavor was weak, boring, watery, and really lacking. Simple and light. I don’t see any complexity as others have listed. No spices or raisins- very one dimensional malts. I was hoping for a little bit more out of this beer and was quite disappointed. Did I get a bad bottle? I hope so. ultraspank (866), Dublin, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 1/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 2, 2007 Haven’t had a chance to bust out the mighty HAMM’S goblet in quite a while. Smells like bubblegum, big league chew to be exact. Pours sparkling ruby and I mean ruby. The fully diminishing frothy beige head leaves no lace. Malty and sweet, the brew has a medium level of acidity, the finish is slightly warm and sweet. The medium to full body is creamy and lively. The finish feels a smidge alcoholic.
