Caramel aroma dominates some grainy and light floral notes. Smooth, medium body and rich mouthfeel, but a little undercarbonated I think. Caramel, brown sugar sweetness is offset by touch of faintly spicy bitterness that prevents it from being sticky. Nice example of the style and very drinkable. vyvvy (2043), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA

Aroma is sweet and malty - almost a candy like sweetness. Medium / thick body with carbonation that is very sharp and fizzy. The tast starts with a sween nutty malt and a bit of sourness. The finish has some spiciness from the hops and a good bit more of the nutty flavors. Overall I would say this is a very good beer for the style. SpringsLicker (2043), Tennessee, USA

Starts with a huge, rocky tan head that forms easily over a brilliantly clear amber body.
Bready malt aroma slightly punctuated by a hint of flowery hops.
Light, toasted marshmallow sweetness in the flavor.
Light, creamy smooth body.
Not an overly assertive example of the style, but a well brewed, cleanly made beer. I’d drink this again. RCL (1477), Waltham, Massachusetts, USA

some spice. Very pleasant. Pours copper with honey amber highlights. The stiff white
creamy head has good retention and fair lace with spidery globs. The flavor is very sweet
and malty. Some spiciness rounds out the nice finish. The medium to full body is lively
and dry. I’ve always been fond of this style. Very well done. BeerBaronLS (85), Grove City, Ohio, USA
