harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA Jun 7, 2004 A nice well balanced amber ale, that is not overly heavy on the toasted malts. A solid malt character and some refreshing cascadian hops. Very nice caramel and toffee flavor. Shag (1922), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA Mar 31, 2004 Wow Im still finding notes from the Atlanta Pub Crawl! A reddish orange appearance with a moderate head. Aroma was floral with a citrus tone. A slightly bitter flavor with a huge malt background. This was quite the hoppy amber ale. Enjoyable brew and one that would be a good session ale. scoobyluv (486), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA Feb 27, 2004 reddish in color. pleasantly bitter but not overmuch. a very smooth finish PorterPounder (3132), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Jan 7, 2003 Nice hoppy surprise. Clean, crisp citrusy aroma. This is an amber just dying to be an IPA but prevents itself by its balance of malt flavor. Very drinkable session type brew. Nice bubbly amber appearance - crips hoppy flavor lasts to the end. Buckhead continues to improve.
