Sep 18, 2004 If they’d added some more hops to this, it wouldn’t be a bad pilsner. The body is a gold with limited streaming bubbles and a decent head. The Aroma isn’t much. The flavor has a nice pilsner malt profile, although sweeter than most in the style, but it’s definitely lacking the appropriate hoppiness. A bit of peppery hops tease the nose here and there and towards the end you catch a little bitterness, but basically, it’s an extremely drinkable beer, but boring.
