Jan 7, 2003 Good solid brewbub Porter - beats their 10 point Porter hands down. No real discernible aroma - nice fluffy offwhite head wiht a good bit of lacing. Smoky flavor comes through in the aftertaste near the end - is this an attempt at a Smoked Porter? Early on, slight chocolate and coffee undertones highlight this new edition to the Buckhead family. Good mouthfeel - no gritty aftertaste.

Jan 3, 2003 Nice dry porter. Alcohol, pruney, roast aroma. Cold coffee flavor, cocoa as it warms. Simple but quaffable. Finishes a little sulfur, ABV and dark roast malt bitter.
