Tasted 10/10/09. Draft from the brewpub. Dark brown with amber highlights. Webbed bone white head. Medium bodied and smooth. This tastes rather fresh! Tangy yet malt dominant. Slight bitterness and touch rye. Subtly sweet. Well done!

On tap at the brewpub. Dark brown with garnet highlights and an off-white head. Sweet roasted aroma. Has a clearly discernable maple and vanilla flavor. Not a common brew, but not that outstanding either. Mildly hopped as are most of the beers served here.
