a rather underwhelming beer. cloudy w/ little head. citrusy and sweet, but very lacking in malt profile for a amber lager.

(12 oz bottle: Obtained in trade with hopdog, thanks Steve!) Amber lager? Who are they trying to fool? Pours medium yellow in color with a small, white head that quickly shrinks to a partial sheen. Lightly sweet aroma is totally overrun by wet cardboard, so the nose is pretty unpleasant. The very same cardboard also dominates the lightly sweet flavor, as I really can’t identify any malt or hops at work here. And wow, the watery, cardboard finish is really terrible. This is just bad stuff. And I’m surprised because they call it an amber lager. I never imagined it would be a pale lager, and a bad one at that. This really gives macro swill a run for it’s money.

watery and disappointing. the color is pale, like a Bud or Coors. tasted like alka-seltzer. no wonder it was on sale.

This is a boring beer. Pooer smell, taste, appearance and palate. Not a whole lot of positives. Not worth drinking in my opinion.

Thin, watery, lost potential. A friend gave me one to try and I never turn down free beer. Slight malty aroma leads to a standard American lager bready taste. Finish was a little harsh. You won’t find it on my want list.

Poured a hazy, medium orange color with a smaller white head. Malty aromas of caramel and toffee. Bread in the tastes on top of the caramel. Lightly sweet. Smells better than the tastes. Watery and thin body. This one started out looking good then went to smelled OK to tasted not so good to ending with body bordering on nasty. Nice downward spiral. Not one to seek out.

Small off-white head atop a crystal clear amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, bread, cookie dough, toffee. Taste is medium sweet, bread and caramel up front, but then turns wet cardboard, seltzer water. Watery light-medium body.

Nice copper colored lager. Sweet caramel bready malts and a light hop spicy finish. Body was thin and slightly watery. Picked this up at Circle Liqours in Pennington NJ.
