| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 5, 2009 Aroma of lemon, faint spices, mellow wheat, and no hops... Pours a pale yellow orange with a nice sized white head... Mild flavor, initially remenescent of a wit, thins out quickly, a touch of lemon... Finish leaves a touch of the macro adjunct on the palate, and the residual budweiser headache is there as well... But not terrible...

Notes of light malt, wheat, citrus, co2. Thin bodied with moderate fizzy carbonation. shrubber85 (2980), Wallhalben, Germany
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Dec 22, 2009 Bottle. Very light orange and coriander aroma. Hazy orange-yellow color with minimal head. Wheat malt flavor with very slight orange and coriander. More flavor than most AB products - may be useful as a gateway beer. riversideAK (2769), Shoreline, Washington, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 21, 2009 On tap at Qwest. Consumed while the Seahawks shit the bed playing the Bucs. Nose of faint wheat, orange, and corriander. Also hints of Bud Light. Pours hazy yellow with a short lived fizzy head. The flavor is light and somewhat unobtrusive with notes of corriander and orange, light wheat, and a little Bud Light taste. Super light. Not as bad as I thought it would be, seriously a decent AB product that I will drink again next Hawks shit fest. Ughsmash (4071), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 20, 2009 Bottled.. and what a beer for the nightcap! Poured clear, medium orange with a tight-bubbled, well-calculated cap of white head. The aroma picked up orange peel and vanilla over a weak pale malty base.. non-offensive. The flavor found about the same stuff.. dry, scratchy pale malts and assertive carbonation at the core with tart orange peel and wheaty notes around.. short finish picked up a little honey. Light-bodied and watery at times on the palate.. sharp at times.. about what I expected SamGamgee (1465), Santa Cruz (La Selva), California, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Dec 20, 2009 Draught at Old Juan’s in Oceano. The best draught option, over bud light and coors light. That’s just sad. Well, it was a new beer that pormised to at least be a little interesting. Big light meets witbier? I guess that’s what they were going for, but the bud light part wins out in the end. Dull hazy gold in color with a quickly dying white head. The aroma shows the advertised orange peel, along with some sweet grain, and an impossibly small hint of spice. The flavor has a little orange and wheat before a short and watery finish devoid of any beer character. Lightly sweet, no bitterness, and a mostly clean profile that tastes more like a lager. Light bodied and a little spritzy. Better than regular bud light, and has much more flavor overall, though I don’t know If I could take more than a couple of these, which I can always to with the regular stuff due to its clean, watery nature. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Dec 19, 2009 Pours a very lightly hazy golden orange with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of orange and light corriander. Flavor also has the light orange and corriander notes. The orange is a little soda like. The beer has some light cereal grains/wheat present...really not a horrible beer, but also not good. Would pick over Bud Light...but thats about it. Maddog (248), Kettering, Ohio, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 18, 2009 Damn, I just rated a Bud Light product over "2!" I have wanted to try this beer for quite awhile. I did not have high expectations, but surprisingly for the Evil Empire Brewing Co. this wheat actually tastes like a wheat, albeit a very, very light and thin one. The pour is cloudy but lacks any head to speak of. The aroma is faint traces of wheat, yeast and fruit. Flavors of citrus and coriander and yeast exist, but there’s just not enough. For God’s sake, don’t be afraid to be good. Why does this brewery continue to brew microbrewed styles of beer for the Bud Light guys who don’t really like beer in the first place?
