Sometimes you want a lighter beer with a Mexican dinner - this beer could be it. Of course, it’s always better with fresh lime instead of the pre-fab lime. | 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Nov 27, 2008 Bottle: Yellow gold color . Typical large white head. Aroma is citrus and lime filled, no real hints of malt or hops... Flavor is mostly lime and citrus zest, bits of salt. Dry prickly mouthfeel, funky aftertaste, not very good. esjaygee (1581), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Nov 27, 2008 Textbook American Pale lager in appearance, straw yellow with a large white fading head. Aroma of lime, salt and malt, kind of smells like a margarita. Taste of lime, salt, corn and malt, perhaps a bit too salty. Little aftertaste and some astringency is apparent. Better than its cousin, Miller Chill – actually has a lime and salt presence. Not sure why I’d want that in a beer but at least it does what it sets out to do and hides some of the regular taste of the bud light (yeah I know hiding water isn’t that hard). mwelsh13 (483), Maryland, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Nov 27, 2008 12 oz bottle pours completely clear and yellow. No aroma what so ever. Initial taste is full of corn and little to no body. No bitterness. Seconds after you taste it, you get the lime flavor. Artificial at best. Another subpar beer from AB. blankboy (3258), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Nov 21, 2008 Bottle (12oz) shared with HogTownHarry and biegaman -- courtesy of biegaman. Pours a clear pale greenish-yellow with a small lasting frothy white head. Aroma of a piss-poor Shandy along with notes of plastic and corn. Ugh, the flavour’s even worse and the aftertaste is awful. It’s watery and corny with a bit of fake lime. Light bodied. Simply put: Garbage. Dogbrick (2907), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Nov 2, 2008 Bottle at a wedding reception. The beer is a clear pale yellow color with a thin and fizzy white head that burns away quickly. Spotty lacing. Lime and corn aroma. Light-bodied without much flavor aside from the artificial lime and salt character. The finish is bland and uninteresting and features more of the same faux lime. Overall I am not sure that not wanting to appear rude by not drinking a beer handed to me was worth it. HogTownHarry (4026), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada
| 0.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Oct 31, 2008 Bottle (12oz - clear). shared by biegaman with me and blankboy. Clear, flat, pale yellow, no head. Smells like sweet plastic with cheap lime added - maybe some corn and fusel burn-y-ness. Taste is mostly weak acidic lime, with an ugly corn/driftwood/dead weeds ugliness in the tail. Thin, slightly sticky mouthfeel, acidic and harsh, tries to be carbonated but fails - this shizz would make good date-rape swill. oldrtybastrd (1846), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Oct 30, 2008 Pours a mellow golden yellow color. Aromas of grains, light hops, and a funky musty smell. Flavor is bland with a weird funk, salty lime. This stuff is nasty. Did AB steal the recipe for Miller CHill.
