| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Aug 18, 2008 Fizzy yellow beer with a jolt of lime. The lime tastes authentic, but it’s too sweet. The beer is light, I’m sure you could drink a lot of these if you were so inclined. What makes AB or Miller feel the need to add lime? How hard is it to buy a lime and slice it up?? | 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Aug 17, 2008 Condensed version: this tastes like Bud Light with a lime wedge in it. Exciting isn’t it? Seriously, the lime tastes fresh and real, and the bud light part tastes like bud light. I think its fair to say the lime actually improves on it a little, giving some zest and character, and its perhaps a little more refreshing because of it. However, the mild bitter finish clashes. | 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Aug 16, 2008 I had braced myself for something horrible and, as it turns out, it really wasn’t that bad. It’s not great (or even good) mind you but amongst my american beer swiling friends who only bud or keystone I would gladly take this one over any of those. The lime gets rid of the ’nasty american beer’ taste’ but it is a bit too dominant in the flavor profile. bethmatt0421 (319), Covington, Kentucky, USA
| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Aug 15, 2008 A pale nose, flavor and appearance with some lime concentrate shot into it. Maybe its natural lime, but, i still cant drink over two of these without some stomach sickness. Id rather have the old fashion bud light without the lime. punkeedo (465), San Antonio, Texas, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Aug 15, 2008 Bottle 2008. Typically, I hate Bud Light. I’m talking, I won’t drink it. This was offered to me and I hesitantly accepted in order to be polite. I was surprised to find that it really wasn’t THAT bad. It tasted nothing like Bud Light--rather more like Corona with lime. Cheap, malt liquor scent. Light yellow with little head. Tastes of Mexican beer with hints of artificial lime. Would not buy it personally. yesyouam (609), Fairport, New York, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Aug 14, 2008 Bud Light Lime is a very clear, very sparkling pale straw lager with a quickly vanishing, sparse white head. The aroma is simply lime. It’s actually not too fake smelling. It is very thin, watery and sparkling in the mouth. It tastes like a lime spritzer. It’s slightly sweet. There really isn’t much flavor. There is a slight aftertaste of cardboard and anonymous grain. The lime doesn’t taste as real as it smells. This is for the underage demographic. Maybe some Cholula and sea salt will fix it... OK, the salt gave it a head and the taco sauce gave it some color. Stick to Negra Modelo and fresh lime if you’re in a chelada mood. "BL" is not the way to go.
