| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jun 13, 2008 Presentation: It was poured from a clear 12oz bottle into a pint glass. It has a bright golden color with a bright white head. The head pours big and fizzy before retreating down to a thin layer of random sized bubbles. It leaves little to no lacing on the glass. The aroma had a heavy fruity lime citrus character that dominates some light grainy cereal notes. Its flavor is fruity tasting like a bowl of Froot Loops or Fruity Pebbles breakfast cereal. Malt flavor is light, sweet and grainy with a good dose of imitation lime flavor mixed in. The body is light and refreshing with a smooth slightly slick texture and modest carbonation. Fans of malt beverages like Zima or Smirnoff Ice may like this beer as well as some non beer drinkers. I actually liked it on that level but as a beer it was way off balance.

I have no complaints about this beer it keeps idiots from buying up the good beer. Not at all remotely worth ever considering buy again Gypsy19 (658), California, USA

The lime actually adds something to the otherwise bongworthy Bud Light. On the other hand, the low quality will keep most people who try this, myself included, to only drinking it when offered one and therefore obligated to do so. In other words, you can’t polish a turd, metaphorically speaking. oreogobbler (217), Austin, Texas, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 12, 2008 The aroma description is right on the bottle: Bud light with lime. Transparent yellow with a thin foamy head. As predicted the flavor isn’t complex. It tastes like bud light with lime. But is does deliver as a refreshing summer afternoon beer. The palate is thing and heavily drinkable. It isn’t bad. But it doesn’t taste like beer. It tastes more like a limeade. ::shrug:: slimchill (783), Austin, Texas, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jun 12, 2008 Bottle. Nose opens with adjuncty Bud aromas and then comes the lime, in your face! Absolutely clear yellow with an inch or two of white foam. Flavor is peculiar, somewhere between limeade and Sprite. Thin and refreshing palate. I can’t say that this is a bad beverage, but I don’t quite know where to put it in the world of beer. It delivers what it promises. johntreeter (122), Greenwood, Indiana, USA
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Jun 12, 2008 16oz. bottle. Pours a pale yellow with thin white head and no lacing. Aroma mostly of lime and the flavor reminds me of a citrus flavored alka-seltzer. Very watery and very light. Not for me, but at least it doesn’tt taste like Bud Light. Clear, pale yellow with a sweet lime aroma. Flavor was mostly lime. Reminded me of a Corona with added lime juice and salt.
