The only good thing you can really say about Bud Light is it hits the spot, if its really cold, on a hot summer day. Not much flavor, almost just carbonated water. valpoaj (362), Valparaiso, Indiana, USA
| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Jun 9, 2008 Consumed from tall boy purchased for me at a ballgame (couldn’t turn it down since it was free, so I figured I might as well rate it). Pour (if I’d poured it) would have been pale golden with a whitish head. Aroma is skunky...bad even when compared to other light beers. Flavor is pretty much corn...not buying that any hops was put into this can...so either Budweiser is lying in the description, or I got ripped off. Palate is pure water. Only good thing about Bud Light is that it doesn’t give me a migraine like Bud Heavy does...this is pretty much swill, even when compared to other American light lagers! carruthm (1127), Seattle, Washington, USA

This was beer? PsionSaint (51), Colorado, USA
| 0.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Jun 8, 2008 Basic American light beer - pale, fizzy, yellow, uninteresting, devoid of flavor. Drink as cold as possible on as hot of a day as possible and you might trick yourself into thinking it’s beer. wmubronco1992 (180), Coldwater, Michigan, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jun 7, 2008 Can - Light color. Small white head. Zero retention. Zero lacing. Besides being crisp and highly drinkable there isn’t anything good to say. The flavor is that of carbonated water. In typical macro fashion, drink it as cold as possible. | 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jun 6, 2008 A typical regular light beer. Looks pale and dull. Taste is unspectacular. Amazing this is the number one beer in America. porterhouse (1154), Alna, Maine, USA
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Jun 3, 2008 (Draft) Served in a heavy ice cold mug. Appears lifeless. Clear pale pee yellow. No head whatsoever, just a faint trace of white. Weak aroma of corn sweetness. Mouthfeel is watery, prickly, sandpaper-smooth. Flavor is very weak, watery corn, rice and bread malt. Watered down and awful. Hardly could be described as a beer. NDbeerdrinker (164), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jun 1, 2008 Updated: Jul 13, 2008Considered a treat to drunk during college for me, compared to Natty and Keystone. Beer that I drink for heavy drinking sessions, but obviously not for the taste. Incredible amount of carbonation, and those first few sips actually sting the back of your throat, and you will burp from it. Out of a bottle ice cold on a hot day it could actually be quite refreshing. Not deserving of praise, but I will continue to drink it (and it is better than Miller Lite in my eyes).
