I tried this beer (for the first time ever) on April 14, 2008 after purchasing from one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer pours a very translucent pale yellow (almost clear with yello food colouring added to give it a tinge of colour). The aroma is weakly malty, wioth nothing else. The mouthfeel was very thin, watery with little carbonation. The flavour was watery as well, again water with alittle bit of artificial beer taste added. I have to admit, while there was nothing spectacular about this beer, it went down very fast.

I guess this is for you if you like drinking water? Slight bitter taste but not much.

Drinkable, but just barely. At least it beats the Ultra. After a number of strong ales, who cares?

mild enough taste, pretty basic beer. then again it is a light beer, like everything Else "low fat", you drink to feel less guilty, pretty much similar to all light beers

12 oz bottle. I was given one of these at a party, that’s my excuse.. Aroma was faintly malty, but astringent. Flavor was nearly non-existent, except for a dull bitterness. Bleh. Thin, oily palate. Overall this was was a disgusting excuse for a beer. Don’t bother.

I am surprised by my rating. Nose is a malty grape. Poured a 1 finger white foamy head that left a thin lacing (no shit) Mild malty sweetnes and then carbonated beer water. Not hideous. Extremely drinkable. The taste isn’t bad for what there is to taste. I wonder if beer snobbery doesn’t play a huge role in it’s low rating. How many of these ratings are from memory or, worse, a biased guess. I will say it again, i am surprised by my rating, but i have had some "craft" beers that I would rate far worse. (and have)

At least it’s better than Budweiser. A barely drinkable, mass produced American Lager that only has a little bit of a foul taste. The Bud Light commercials are at least funny.

I haven’t had the opportunity to taste a whole lot of beers but I do like bud light. If I were to choose an American pilsner, this or the other bud products would be the choice.
