ogivlado (2381), Zagreb, Croatia Jul 22, 2008 Bottled(500ml). –Pale golden coloured, big saopy white head, typical n/a nose. Strong grainy, hoppy herbal taste which I didn’t like at all. Also strong unpleasant bitter finish and long lasting aftertaste.
Quack-Duck (1900), Bodensee, Germany Aug 4, 2008 bottle from Globus Ceske Budejovice. Clear pale yellow colour, medium-sized head. Malty nose. Malty, not too sweet with some nice hoppy flavours. Well-balanced and rather good for a nealko pivo. Doggythedog (1019), Split, Croatia Jul 17, 2008 Medium-big thick white head, gold-yellow colour. Strong honeyish soapy soggy cornflakes in the nose. Fakeish honey in the taste, light but unpleasant bite, light notes of lemon Nestea. Bitter aftertaste. Not the worst n/a taste around but I just don’t like it much. Just not my type. sir_Pino (589), Zawiercie / Żywiec, Poland Jul 16, 2008 No 293

Bottle green, 500 ml
Appearance: Pours bright golden, lemony colour, with quite huge head being white, frothy, a bit rocky in texture, irregular and slowly decreasing but not completely diminishing. Body is not clear and the most probably reason for floating dusty - chalky dediments is drinking 6.5 months after sell by date. Carbonation is medium and gently after some time, there are some traces of lacing.
Aroma: Very chalky, dust, bittery - hoppy aroma, some carboantion in nose, hints of tomato, generally aroma is quite strong still hiding under the pillowy head and rather simple, not complex, soily, a hint of tomato soup with rice, a bit soapy. No skunkyness despite the green bottle.
Flavour: Front is softly carbonated minerla water, fresh spring water, than some metallic hints and some hoppy bitterness on palate, but very weak, crystalized honey, all in all very wattery but there is this characteristic for Pilsener style lack of sugar or syrupy impression. Finish feel is very flat, simple, refreshing drink, with some hints of alcohol practically not recgnizable in the taste, dominated by water, but positive, without skunkyness. Notes of taste less bubble gum. The interesting thing is tha all Bohemian Pilsener’s Low Alcohol counterparts have no sugar at all and when it comes to Premiun Lager’s Low Alcohol counterparts their taste is more sweet and crystalized honey like. A bit crispy. Not that bad as compared with many non - slvonic low alcohols.
Palate: Body is light, texture is very wattery, carbonation is soft on palate, finish feel is flat, wattery with some hints of carbonation and poor crispyness or dust.
thewolf (3959), Kolding, Denmark Jul 14, 2008 Bottle, bought @ a Billa in Prague.
Pours clear golden with a fine, big, bubbly, white head. Okay duration. Big bubbles in the liquid. Aroma has a bit of sour socks, some maltiness and light grass. High carbonation, a bit thin. Flavour is soft, slightly metallic, a bit of maltiness. Finishes off with quite a nice dose of hoppiness, perhaps a bit too citric. Otherwise a fine non-alcoholic beverage.
