Ungstrup (11353), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 22, 2008 Can. A dark golden beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of straw, and so is the flavor. The body is light. OK for a light beer - but I rather have a stronger Budvar. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Apr 29, 2007 Bottled. Golden colour, brief head. Oily saaz hop aroma. Light bodied with rounded mouthfeeel. Malt sweetness mixes with butter and oily saaz hops. Medium bitterness. Good quaffable pilsener Papsoe (10267), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 18, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Comes as "Budejovický Budvar Svetlé výcepni pivo". The lighter version of Budweiser is a bit paler and drier than the original. It still has the same lovely malt-haracter though. A very nice light pilsener, and proof that light doesnt necessarily equal bland. yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark Sep 16, 2008 50 cL can. Pours clear and golden yellow with a fully gone head. Light citric and mild butterish aroma. Mild breadish and malty base flavour with a light bitterness coming through. Medium dry malty finish. MiP (6018), Flensburg, Germany Sep 21, 2008 Can, 4%. Caramelly malt flavour, not sweet. Clear golden colour. Not thin, but fades a bit way in the finish, when the bitterness kicks in, though.
