Jul 6, 2008 Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is malts, grain, rubbery and metal. Flavour is quite much the same along with strong bready hints. Not totally hopeless though.

Jul 5, 2008 Small sample on the RBESG08 bus trip between Plzen and Stribro. Didn’t get a bigger one because Ogi convinced me that I’ve already had it. And seems I haven’t. Ah well. Perfumey aroma, notes of alcohol. Perfumey sweetish taste with some slightly offensive alcohol bitterness near the end. Rerate pending.

Jul 3, 2008 Canned, sampled at a RBESG08 bus trip. Clear golden, medium white head. Intense bready malt aroma with notes of alcohol and some hops. Medium bodied and smooth, quite dry.

Jun 22, 2008 bottle. Clear golden yellow, enormous head, not only in the glass but all over my table. Bitter-sweet, full-bodied, with alcohoic flavours. Aromatically hoppy with a sticky sweetness at the same time.

Jun 16, 2008 Rich nose of stewed fruit malts and hints of sweetness. Ok I guess but it seems disjointed and clumsy flavours play out broadly the same; heavy malts and some slightly rough ABV heat in the back palate. There’s a fair bit of fizz but seems necessary in this instance to lift a weighty structure.

May 10, 2008 Very pelasant surprise. Pours deep golden, almost orange. Very dense, with honey notes and some bitterness and NO alcoholic aftertaste. Shocking difference between this and Polish strong lagers, my compatriots have much to learn.

Apr 14, 2008 Bouteille verte de 330 ml achetée chez Galerie Piva (Prague, Rép. Tchèque). Arôme: Odeur d’houblon et de miel fruité. Apparence: La couleur est dorée avec une faible densité de bulle. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût d’houblon avec une pointe fruitée. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture huileuse.
