Another typical Czech pilsener, hoppy, with bitter finish. This time it was a bit too lightweight for my liking, and with way too much carbo. Very drinkable still.

500 ml bottle. Pale golden colour; white, rapidly disappearing head. Mild, malty aroma. Flavour is simple: mild malts and light bitter hoppy finish. Slightly watery.

Draught@U Kastanu, Plzen. Subtle, but nicely subtle. This showed peach/apricot/pear notes, with a wonderfully soft mouth feel, and a mouth coating (but not heavy) flavour. Perhaps i may be over rating it, but i thought it was such a well made beer for what it is. This would be something i could drink all night.

Soft bitter aroma. Golden colour. Traditional bitter flavor with ager-sweet notes in palate. Nice beer to drink with any meal.

The bottle looks good, like all Budweiser-bottles. The beer in the glass also. Fine aroma, fine foam. The beer starts modest malty, not bad. But it’s getting worse. The finish is much too sourish - I don’t like it.
