Comes as "Original Budejovický Budvar Cerveza Checa" in Spain. Not 100% sure it’s the same one. Golden colour with no head at all. Soft aroma of hops. Sweet malt with a spicy hoppy finish. Some notes of sweet corn and bread. Not very interesting.

Bottle: Golden coloured, thin, quickly diminishing white head; stronger grassy to herbal hoppiness in the nose with traces of sweet pale malt; robust, quite dry bitter flavour, light malty body; short dry, herbal bitter finish. A spicy and aromatic Desitka !

A dismal 4% lager. Drank with friends in prague, which added to the experience of the beer. But thats all this beer is good for, drinking with a group of people, not for the beer itself.

Drier and a little blander compared to the 12 degree, but this is one of the best mainstream 10 degrees. No skunk at all.

(Bottle 50 cl) Comes as "Budejovický Budvar Svetlé výcepni pivo". The lighter version of Budweiser is a bit paler and drier than the original. It still has the same lovely malt-haracter though. A very nice light pilsener, and proof that light doesn’t necessarily equal bland.

Bottled. Bready, hoppy aroma with a hint of vegetables. Taste is reminiscient of its bigger brother, but also a bit weaker in general. A light, sweet maltiness underneath the initial hoppy, grassy taste profile. Not the best 10% I´ve had, but a decent, drinkable beer.
