Grassy, floral nose with faint notes of boiled rice, honey and lemon flavoured washing-up-liquid. Grassy, soapy taste with boiled rice, lemon and hay. Brings back youth memories of mixing vodka with lemonade (but the difference is that you could get a buzz out of that). Sourish. Hops? On the label, but nowhere else to be found. Extremely thin body. Not overly sweet to say something positive. Is it mineral water flavoured beer or beer flavoured mineral water? Hard to say, whatever it is, it’s more or less a failure. King of beers? What a laugh! | 0.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Nov 3, 2007 I would rate it lower if I could. Immitation beer at its finest, and a wonderful example of capitalism in action, that is, making the cheapest product possible and selling for highest price market will allow. Acquisition wholesale cost = 25 cents, sells for $2.50 and up at restaurants. Calling this thing beer is disrepectful to the word, and the entire concept of the tradition. Wow, finely I got to try this beer… Unpleasant, light sour aroma of hay, corn, boiled rice, green apples, compost and sweet grass. Overtones of sweet marzipan. Watery, soda like flavour with green apples and some grassy tones but no hops. Light to medium sweet and without any bitterness. Carbonated, non existing mouthfeel. Light body.
