Pours an amber color with a white head. The aroma is roasted malts, a bit of yeast, and hops. I was also detecting some piney notes. The flavor is about the same, although there is no hoppy bite, which is what I would expect. I am slightly impressed that Anheuser-Bush came out with something this mediocre. It slightly reminded me of a watered down Boston Lager.

Pours amber into the glass, with a diminishing head that retains a tiny cap. The nose contains the faintest caramel malts. The flavors are of malt, sours, and muddy contingencies. The finish is much of the same, with no distinct hop presence to close the pull. The mouthfeel is a bit thin, but thank God, there tends to be very little corn macro notes in this offering (compared to most A-B brews).... points there for the effort solely. Overall, it’s not a terrible brew, and I have to applaud Anheuser-Busch for trying. However, the brew tends to just "end" prematurely, instead of exhibiting any lingering aspects. It just seems as if A-B is afraid to step outside the box and brew a really tremendous beer, for fear of alienating their profit margin (which has been on the decline as of late.... all the more reason to take the step).

OK. Saw the add and had to try. Certainly better that the regular. Not something I need to keep on hand though.

Pours a nice amber with a thick head that dissipates quickly. Sweet malt aroma. Very toasty and malty flavor. Slightly bitter aftertaste. This is just AB’s version of Fat Tire. A little more watery but otherwise similar. Certainly better than most American macro products, but you can probably do better.

12 oz bottle. Amber/red color with a one finger head. Feels thin in the mouth. Average all around.

12 oz. bottle. Amber color, does not have the distinctive hoppy finish that it claims, not much of an aroma, poor finish.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a crystal clear reddish amber with a moderate off-white head that lasted until mid-glass and left partial lace. Scant aroma of malt with no hops detected at all. The malt in the flavor is much more noticeable than in the aroma, but lacks any depth and fades quickly. Its not offensive in any way, just short-lived. Light hops bitterness at the finish.
