Way too skimpy on the hops to be considered a good ale. Heavy on the caramel malts. Just not what I’m looking for in a ale. Lacks crispness. NPRugby11 (89), New York, USA

The cascade hops impart that great citrus flavor to it that makes it so much better than anything else with the word Budweiser on it Grovlam (3810), Copenhagen, Denmark

[Enjoyed on the beach of Miami with the good company of hopscotch and wife] Large beige creamy head that mostly lasted. Fair display of lacework. Amber color. Aroma of bread, toffee, grain, apricot, fruit. Quite nice I thought. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation and mild dry texture. Light sweet and bitter flavor in balance. Sweet caramel and dry apricot finish. Dmalone102 (218), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 7, 2009 It was decent, coming from Budweiser, but I rated it against the style, not against other Bud products. The aroma was bready, with earthy hops that had a subtle aroma. Caramel was present. The appearance was good, beautiful amber color, although the head did not look like that picture.
The flavor falls short, less than moderate hop flavor, and they weren’t very citrusy. I tasted a good amount of diacetyl, it was very carmely/nutty. The hop presence came in the form of a bitterness that I did not enjoy.
It was a bit cloying and the unwanted bitterness detracted from the drinkability.

Very effervescent. head is weak, tan colored, does not lace the glass. Smells of light caramel, bread, light malt, very faint citrus sensation. palate feel is slightly watery but very inviting. flavor has weak hop sensation, more malty than anything. Would drink again if price was right but not go out of my way to get some mribm (419), Hurley, New York, USA

A great session beer, however it could have been a little hoppier for my taste. It reminded me a lot of Sam Adams Boston Lager only better! I hope in the future that they will produce something with more hops. This makes an excellent session beer for me and the price is reasonable ($5.49 a six pack). zombywoof (362), Shawnee, Kansas, USA

Has good carbination and nice mouthfeel. A very decent tasting beer. I was quite shocked with this coming from Budweiser. Not bad at all
