| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 26, 2008 Not a bad pour, a clear copper body with a dense, sustained off-white head. Very light aroma, caramelly with a touch of orchard fruit and some mineral water. Overly carbonated and gassy like A-B’s infamous lagers. The flavor is watery malt, mineral water, and some soily bitterness. While drinkable, this is a waste of Cascades... if they’re really there.

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 26, 2008 draft - Pours clear copper with a one finger head. It has a light malty aroma with a trace of hops. The flavor has some lightly toasted malt and mild hops bitterness. It’s light bodied and has a clean finish. While not too bad, it still doesn’t measure up to what so craft breweries offer, yet they’re charging craft brew prices. DrDavid (957), Johnson, Vermont, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Oct 26, 2008 (Bottle). Sweet malty aroma. Reddish copper body, off-white head. Dry, somewhat metallic flavor; discernible malt, but not well balanced. Worse than expected. CJfromPhilly (83), Aston, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 26, 2008 Pours from the 12oz. bottle a pretty copper color with a fluffy, one finger off-wjite head. Moderate carbonation. The nose has a light but distinct aroma of hops. First sip is light and crisp, with a modest hops kick followed by a balanced finish. There’s a slight hoppy aftertaste. Mouthfeel is light and crisp. Overall, this seems like a hybrid beer, a cross between your average macro lager and a mediocre pale ale. It’s a good ’’starter’’ beer to bring an average Bud drinker over to something more flavorful, but it’s a little to watered down to satisfy a real beer geek. Sierra Nevada is my benchmark for pale ales, this is more like Sierra Nevada Lite! CIPS514 (77), Lawrenceville, Georgia, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 25, 2008 12oz bottle: Appearance is amber brown with a slow fading off white head, aroma still smells like a lager with corn and pale malt, flavor is drinkable but very pale and no caramel to spek of in this amber, to sum it up this is bed with a ale yeast strain and they took out some of the off flavors or the yeast is covering them up.
