Thin, cloying sweetness and has a off-putting tin finish. Drinkable, but don’t go out of your way. beerledgend (919), Waterloo, Wellington, New Zealand
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 18, 2009 Clear copper colour with thick white head. Mild hop aroma. Thin hop mouthfeel but bit oily/soapy. Looks goo and is probably the best of the Bud range. ronaldtheriot (64), Laplace, Louisiana, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Jun 15, 2009 International Beverages (A-B) scored a home run with this one. Budweiser American Ale is hands down the best ever produced from the Budweiser line. Beautiful head in the shaker glass, and an all around pleasant drinking experience. This one is highly recommended.

Hoppy flavor (it really is), beautiful dark amber appearance, agreeable sweetness, an aroma that accurately foreshadows flavor, and a clean finish that invites a return trip. A-B’s manufacturing accomplishment in this product is akin to GM making a safer car than the Swedes and Japanese reliability an antiquated novelty. Go buy a sixer and support the home team. This is pretty good. I think AB has made a good product here. Better than most macros.
