2006 vintage from Capone’s. Merdium gold pour with 2-finger whitish head. Aroma of grainy pale malt, some berry notes, and a pretty big apricot/peach waft to the olfactory receptors. The flavor was pale malty, on the sweet side, with some heavy syrup flavor and a touch of raspberry. Toward the end, it got a bit cloying and fell apart a little, but the first half was not bad at all. Better than I expected.

Poured golden, slightly hazy, with a thick pretty permanent head that left thick sticky rings of lacing. Smelled sweet. Tasted even sweeter. No hops. Left a sticky, musty taste in my mouth. Worth trying, not worth trying again.

Bottle. Poured a golden color with a 2 finger head. Aroma is hops and malt. The taste is ok with a metalic finsh.

Mu stoopid brother-in-law bought this for me to celebrate the COLTS! winning the superbowl. That is the only good thing about this. ok Poured a clear yellow, small head. Notes of spice and alcohol. Just OK.

Bottle. ’06 Pours a clear yellow color with a white head. Toasted malt aroma. Toasted malt flavor, clean and dry with a crisp finish. To say that this is the best of the worst would be fairly fitting for this beer. While having partaken in quite a few AB products over the years, this is probably the best thing they’ve put forth. An aroma of apples, some over sweetness like honey along with some grainyness. Appearance was a deep gold color with a foamy head. Mouthfeel was medium bodied but watery. The flavor really just drops out mid palate leaving you with nothing. Flavor was overly sweet, astringent and corn. It had their regular AB taste but somehow more refined but sweeter. It did hide the alcohol really well. Not bad, but forgettable (which can be worse than bad).

big ol bottle. This looks like an average pale lager, with very little smell. Taste is corn and yeast. Everyone I shared this with called it a "double Budweiser", which I think is spot on. This wasn’t bad in a lager kind of way. It had a little sweetness to it and overall, wasn’t bad.

Awesome bottle. Tastes like gross corn byproduct. It left a nasty feeling in my mouth. Oh man, this is remarkably nasty.
I marked out for the concept of this, because let’s face it, Ultimate Budweiser. But, like the Ultimate Warrior, it turned out to be pretty depressing when you broke it out in public.
