Taste is corn and yeast. Everyone I shared this with called it a "double Budweiser", which I think is spot on. This wasn’t bad in a lager kind of way. It had a little sweetness to it and overall, wasn’t bad. HooperX (13), Decatur, Georgia, USA

I marked out for the concept of this, because let’s face it, Ultimate Budweiser. But, like the Ultimate Warrior, it turned out to be pretty depressing when you broke it out in public.

Decent retention. Grainy nose with light notes of ethanal (acetaldehyde) and stronger notes of spent mash, honey and peppery hops. Sweet, boozy flavor with light cereal grains and mild, herbal bitterness. Full-bodied and chewy with medium carbonation. Lengthy, heavily sweet, mildly bitter finish. Imperial pilsener all the way. Not really my thing, but good for what it is. Spendy though! BigBen2120 (688), Derry, New Hampshire, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 5, 2007 Lighter amber translucent body with about an inch of white head that dissipates quickly but leaves a little lacing. Smells similar to Budweiser in some ways, but has a roasty malt character to it. Taste is somewhat light, but fairly complex with hints of yeast, caramel, vanilla, and some alcohol, though the alcohol is very well hidden. Clean finish. Very creamy mouthfeel. Overall, pretty impressive considering it’s a beer with the Budweiser name on it. I could probably see myself getting this one again. SGTHibbert (100), Perry, Iowa, USA

Intial pour reveals an amber brew with a sparkling body and a huge creamy off white head. Good lacing. Nose of heavy malt, grass, pineapple, and alcohol. Tasting reveals a heavy sticky sweet beer with a full body and creamy texture, notes of caramel, toffee, honey, and rice. Slightly alcoholic feel. Very excellent taste, I must say I am impressed with this. To bad that all Bud couldn’t be this good. This is truly a king of beers. tbarnette (105), Allen Park, Michigan, USA

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 7/20 | Dec 26, 2006 Smells like mettalic corn. Good look for an american lager, honey brown color with a small but lasting head. Decent corn beer although because of its strength (8.5%) reminds me a bit of malt liquor (which is typically better than other macro brews in my book). Nice feel on the palate, not overly carbonated. Still over all just a good macro.
