| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Aug 21, 2006 Poured a hazy amber color with a large white head. The aroma was pretty with grainy corny notes dominating the nose. The flavor was also very sweet and corny. Some fruitiness in the flavor. Bitter finish and warming. Medium body. I like sweet beers but this was too sweet for me. More like the wrong sweetness. Not a fruity sugary type but just sweet. beerguy101 (3907), Newark, California, USA
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Jul 22, 2006 This malt liquor pours a deep gold color from a 1 liter swing top bottle. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is grainy, apples and sweet. A light to medium bodied Malt Liquor. Malts are apples, fruity and sweet, some grain, but mostly apples and sweetness. Hops are slightly bitter. Kind of flat carbonation. Strange this stuff tastes like a ramped up Budweiser without the carbonation. Maybe that’s where they got it from, this is the stuff they brew and dilute to get Bud. Its not a malt liquor and its not a pale lager, its sort of a bastard half breed between the two. I think I will save the rest of this for cooking, Sorry AB try again.. Think I would rather drink a bud. I wonder why I bother even trying these. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet. csbosox (1081), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA

Gold color, active carbonation. Light malt aroma along with light noble hops, caramel, and tofee. Taste is malty, noble hops and an odd off flavor, not sure what it is, but it comes right at the end. Light body. jake65 (1725), Williston, North Dakota, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 18, 2006 Light golden in color with a sizable white head. Taste is better than any other Bud product, features a maltiness, light citrus, and subtle sweetness. Finished very clean and smooth. TheBeerOrg (1577), Kentucky, USA
| 0.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Jun 16, 2006 Pours dark golden with a fully receding white head. Aroma of husky grain, corn ethanol, and harsh phenols. Taste of adjuncts, corn mash, honey, and nastiness. Mouthfeel is heavy bodied and sticky with fizzy carbonation. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 15, 2006 A very nice looking package and bottle. Pours a light golden color with a frothy then turning fizzy white head. Reminiscent of a bock, with sticky sweet maltiness. Grainey, pale and full of rice on the grain bill. Decent, above average for what you would expect from AB. DrnkMcDermott (1848), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jun 5, 2006 Swing-top bottle. So this is the highest-rated AB beer with "Budweiser" in its name. Not surprising. I don’t know what this costs, but I doubt it’s worth all the fancy packaging. Pour and mouth texture are almost syrupy, but with very light malts. In fact, I’m getting a big impression of rice syrup. Very thick and stickly. I can not find any hop balance to this either. This was served at our homebrew club meeting, followed by a Sam Adams Imperial Pilsener. Guess which one was enjoyed more. Tmoney99 (4743), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 4, 2006 Large hinged botte. Hazy amber orange pour with a huge off-white frothy head that mostly lasted with minimal lacing. Light tart citrus alcohol aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Medium sweet flavor with a sweet finish of moderate duration. Not what I expected, nice bottle.
