tupalev (2311), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jun 8, 2008 Green bottle, LCBO. Medium yellow, decent sized white head. Mild grainy aroma, faint hops. Taste is nice - crisp hops, light but werll carbonated and soft mouthfeel, really nice hop linger with a little sweetness. I would love to try this fresh, or even in a non light struck can/bottle.
Ober (376), Best, Netherlands Oct 4, 2008 On draught. A clear golden colored beer, with a thick white head. It disappears quickly. The aroma of malt, hop and citrus. The taste is hoppy bitter, with malts and fruits like citrus. A fresh beer. The aftertaste is smooth bitter. swoopjones (1173), Buffalo, New York, USA Oct 1, 2008 Bottle. Pours a golden yellow color. Decent Euro Pilsner. clean crisp, balanced. Better than Budweiser in America gfolivares (61), McAllen, Texas, USA Sep 29, 2008 Pours a beautiful golden yellow with a nice thick white head. Plenty of spicy hop aromas with hints of floral perfumes and clove. Full bodied with satisfying mouth-feel and carbonation. Sweet malt taste quickly gives way to a crescendo of hop bitterness which lingers on into a nice, long tapering finish with suggestions of yeasty dough, mown hay, and hints of caramel. Well balanced, and a great reference to keep in mind. Try with a hearty onion soup or beef broth. JonnyDr (107), , South Yorkshire, England Sep 29, 2008 Fantastic pilsner. Hoppy and crisp yet mellow and warm at the end. Classic. thenick (583), North Bellmore, New York, USA Sep 28, 2008 I was so pleased when I first had this to learn it wasn’t actually made by Budweiser....It’s a very solid pilsner, with added floral hops and a nice grain characteristic that makes the beer very smooth. This is a good go-to beer, and brings back memories of Prague.
