afireinside96 (497), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 1, 2008 Green 12oz bottle served in a footed pilsener glass. Gold in color with a fluffy white head, very little carbonation is visible in the beer. Sweet, skunky aroma wafts from the glass, man I hate green bottles. Tastes of wet grain, saw dust, & herbal hops. Not bad but not nearly as good as I expected it to be.
Indulgence (123), Ajo, Arizona, USA Oct 8, 2008 This is the first time that I have had this, although I have had the opportunity to drink this in Eastern Europe, I have always passed it up. Clean aromas of sweet malts and some hops, flavor is clean and light, much better than the typical lager... drink ability is very high. tarjei (1300), Bryne, Norway Oct 7, 2008 50 cl bottle at Skallerup Klit. Clear golden color, moderate and disappering white head. Aroma is malt with some sweetness, hints of hops and citrus. Flavor is malty, grassy and sweet with fine bitterness. Nice pilsener! Ober (396), Best, Netherlands Oct 4, 2008 On draught. A clear golden colored beer, with a thick white head. It disappears quickly. The aroma of malt, hop and citrus. The taste is hoppy bitter, with malts and fruits like citrus. A fresh beer. The aftertaste is smooth bitter. swoopjones (1179), Buffalo, New York, USA Oct 1, 2008 Bottle. Pours a golden yellow color. Decent Euro Pilsner. clean crisp, balanced. Better than Budweiser in America gfolivares (61), McAllen, Texas, USA Sep 29, 2008 Pours a beautiful golden yellow with a nice thick white head. Plenty of spicy hop aromas with hints of floral perfumes and clove. Full bodied with satisfying mouth-feel and carbonation. Sweet malt taste quickly gives way to a crescendo of hop bitterness which lingers on into a nice, long tapering finish with suggestions of yeasty dough, mown hay, and hints of caramel. Well balanced, and a great reference to keep in mind. Try with a hearty onion soup or beef broth.
