Pours Pale to medium gold with a thin white head. Aroma is grass, bread, bay leaf, sweet straw, a bit of skunkiness. Flavor is grass, toast, straw, crusty white bread, mild fruity notes and some nice lager yeastiness. Finish is bread, grass, light herbal notes and some mild but pleasant bitterness. Palate is thin and fairly dry, very crisp. Overall this is a very good all purpose, everyday session beer.

(bottle from co-op, Long Stratton) Appearance was golden with brilliant fast bubbles and a pure thick white head. Saaz hop aroma, fruity with that classic skunk - very nice interesting smell. Great thick yet clear taste with lots of hop character and a bitter drying finish. Great lager with a good bit of bite.

A bitter beer that failed to satisfy. I didn’t find much beyond the expected flavors for the style.

pours a pale yellow with a foamy white head. poor retention. mild aroma is malty with hints of lemongrass and spice. tastes lightly spicy with decent pils malt backing and a hint of lemongrass. mouthfeel is light and crisp. pretty true to style and refreshing.
