Jan 21, 2009 As soon as you open the bottle you experience a light fruity aroma. Unlike a lot of Czech lagers, the key character is the malt and not the hop.

Jan 21, 2009 Clear gold colour-bubbly white head. Aroma of malt, metal and cheap hops. Light-bodied; Sweet malt and some funky caramel flavours - not good at all! Aftertaste shows funk and cardboard-no good tastes there either! Overall, overrated - this isn’t worth trying at all! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Tyson’s Corner, Virginia on 17-September-2005.

Jan 15, 2009 Bottle. Pours gold with sticky white head. The aroma has a little bit of skunk at first, but that is replaced by lemon zest, hay, and grainy sweetness. The flavor is grain and clover honey with a finish of dry grass. A little bit bland, but ok.

I must say I really enjoyed it without the rank arse ’skunky’ vibes ,which is customary in bottled format: Ok ,it sway less pedestrian or something right now. I found the hops to be more lively and aromatic.. My glass had a floral,spicy -dry palate. The maltiness is juicy ,but subtle. . ! Creamy mouth feel is cool.! Maybe some pineapple ester from the yeast!

Jan 4, 2009 Fairly straightforward Czech lager. Drinkable, but not distinctive. Of all the ones I tried over there, this was about how I remember them tasting. Sort of sweet for the style, but not bad. Golden color and sort of yeasty on the nose. Finishes cleanly.

Jan 3, 2009 Nicely hopped example of a decent lager, very refreshing. Pales in comparison to other Czech lagers and pilsners, but still very drinkable.
