Good mineral taste to it creates some unusual depth for a light beer. Relatively lightly hopped without being sweet. A fine choice eaglefan538 (2405), Wilmington, Delaware, USA

Pour was pale golden color, slight true yellow-ness to it, but not much. Head was pretty generous initially but subsided. The aroma was grainy, bready, slight grassiness. The flavor followed suit, somewhat of a pale lager, yet retaining some aspects of true pilsner character. Light in the flavor, light in the mouthfeel, better than US Bud (no obvious adjunct presence to me), but certainly not a top notch Pilsner. BelgianBeerGal (1329), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

(original) 33cl bottle from Systembolaget. Clear gold with a small, unstable head. Aroma was an initial rush of grassy, tangy, earthy hops, and then sweet caramel and bread. Malt dominates, with just enough hops to keep it from being overly sweet, but the hop flavor doesnt seem assertive to me. Slight betterness actually leaves a long but subtle finish, which is suprising. It’s well balanced and delicate, with a light body and smooth carbonation. Being an American, I had to try this in Europe and see if it was better than Budweiser, and it certainly is, but it’s nothing special for a Czech pilsner. Urquell still wins in my book. Pours a clear golden with thin white head. Aroma came out faintly oxidized, but very grassy and slightly herby. Body is light and fizzy. Flavor is lightly bitter, with some bready malts, lots of grassy hops. Finish is dry, lightly bitter, fairly clean and short. Not bad at all. pumpmaster (484), Pembroke Pines, Florida, USA
