IPALover (57), Carlsbad, California, USA Mar 18, 2007 Nice clean pilsner with a crisp malty aroma and taste. I’m not a big pilsner drinker but this was refreshing (and of course much better then the US buds :)).
SeanMacGC (102), Dublin, Ireland Nov 20, 2008 Bottle. Pours golden, with short-living white head. Malt, hop and slightly citrus nose, and hops and yeast on the palate. Fresh mouthfeel, with moderate carbonation, and overall a smooth lager. SkyCop32 (139), Morlautern, Germany Oct 25, 2008 Thispours clear golden with a small white head. This is a little bready with a smooth after tatse, almost creamy. MiP (6337), Flensburg, Germany Sep 9, 2008 Draught, 5% at GBBF08. Clear golden colour, small white head. Bready flavour, a little soapy. Good mouthfeel. Probably not the right thing to drink after a lambiek. maeib (4106), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England Aug 13, 2008 Draught - GBBF 2008. A golden coloured beer with a whitish head. The aroma is yeasty with saaz hops. The taste is crisp and flowery. Fairly good, and as harrisoni says, a nice change from the hoppy US beers. harrisoni (5474), Ashford, Kent, England Aug 11, 2008 On tap at GBBF 2008. Gold with a thin white head. Cold, clean and crisp. No off flavours. Nice bit of lemon fruit even. It’s enormously clean and drinkable after all these heavy American beers. Good.
