Jul 12, 2009 Pours a dark chocolate brown. Aroma is very light, almost nothing really stands out. Mildly grassy/grainy. Flavor is similar to lager with just a dark appearance. Grassy/grainy flavor. Body is light with medium carbonation.

Jun 16, 2009 Dark red-black with medium beige head, roasted aroma, nuts, chocolate and some grain, flavor is smokey with some chocolate, coffee and some malts, finish is bitter and smoked. Body is medium. Nice dunkel.

Jun 1, 2009 Beautiful and promissing dark brown color Unfortunately the taste doesn’t match the expectations. A good one but no big deal for a dark lager. I think it could be a lot better if it had a more bitter finish. Worth a try though, it’s a good beer. I just expected more!

Apr 19, 2009 Bottle. Dark brown with a red hue and a medium beige head with decent retention. Coffee, chocolate and some mild fruity notes on the nose. More coffee and chocolate tones in the flavour with roasted malts. A dry, short bitter finish, though crisp with light carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and a lingering chocolate aftertaste.
