Decent enough lager, clean, crisp, dry and nicely bitter. But paled in comparison to other lagers and pilsners in Prague, especially those on draught.

50cl bottle. It poured a dark brown colour with a big beige creamy head that settled down fast in the glass. The aroma is a bit acidious with notes of dark caramel, roasted malts and hints of vinegar. The flavour is bitter and tastes of roasted malts, dark caramel, and hints of citrus. It has a short aftertaste.Overall it is a bit disappointing compared to their regular lager.

On tap at Prague, a nice dark bar where Old St meets the Kingsland Rd, London. Thin body, plenty of tar and brackish tannin flavour, hint of citrus. Although its not all that complex or flavousome, I enjoy this one more than a pilsner. A good winter beer.

Bottled. Dark amber body, tiny off-white head. Aroma of butter, malt, smoke. Taste a bit more smokey, quite smooth, good long finish.

On tap @ U Medvidku. Deep dark brown, beige head. Aroma of dark malts, caramel and some moccha. Flavour is the same, more roasted malts, slightly bitter finish. Neutral.

Bottled from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Dark brown coloured, big brown head. Nose of roasted malts and caramel. Bitter malty flavour, coffee. Not much going on besides some bitterness. Not bad, but i prefer their pilsener.

smells a bit funky, taste is slight tart, heavy malts, grassy hops and slightly metallic at the end.
