[At Jyske Řldage 2004, Kolding] A dark amber beer with an OK but collapsing off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, while the flavor is sweet malty leading to a nice bitter finish.

(On tap) Beautiful, clear mahogany with a small, off-white head. Weak aroma of roasted malt. Rather high carbonation. Weak - very weak - notes of roasted malt. Dry finish. For a brewery that produces the world’s best Pilsener this truly was a disappointment. 190506

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a little dense light bornw head. Lovely aroma of roasted malt and light hoppy fruity note. Flavour is smooth, almost chocolate like, malty and with a nice fruity note from the hops. Leads into a nice mild bitterness and roasted note in the finish.

Bottled (as Budweiser Budvar Premium Dark Lager). Clear dark brown, small head. Lightly smokey nose. Light bodied with clean mouthfeel. Fairly dry, somewhat woody and roasty, notes of tobacco. Low-medium bitterness. Quite pleasant.

Tapped. Dark red colour, large beige foamy head. Malty, a bit bitterish aroma with weak hints of plum (?). Roasted flavour with hints of malt and barley. The roast grows in the finish. Not that much aftertaste.

Draught, Coinot Pivnoi Bar, Tashkent, Uzbekistan

Dark brown with amber highlights. Sweet, syrupy demerara notes with hints of wood and molasses. A little bit on the fizzy side. Sweet, slightly earthy finish.
