From keg@Masné Krámy Beerhouse in České Budějovice. Dense, two-finger light brown head. Body is translucent, dark brown. Fresh, light acidulous aroma with coffee and cocoa. Notes of dark bread and hayish hops. Strong malt body, with roasted tones and a fine dryness. More coffee, cocoa and dark bread, and also a hint of sour-sweet fruits and licorice. A gentle bitterness in the backbone. Crisp in the mouth. Very refreshing, high drinkability.

A nice, milky, smoked aroma. Woody, sweet but with an ashy bitterness. Long dry wood finish. Something coke-like about it. Pretty ace though not perfectly drinkable

Bottle, 500ml. A deep brown colour with a small head. Rich nutty aroma with roasted malt and chocolate. A very malty flavour with cocoa, caramel, nuttiness and a sweet, almost syrupy mouthfeel. A little citrus in the finish. Moderate carbonation. Definitely one I’ll buy again.
