"I select YOU to drink this beer" said my friend. And there is a crown on the label - but what for? So this is a low calorie beer - I guess halfway between a normal brew and a lite. The aroma was better than expected, but the dry, insipid taste was worse than expected. Didn’t Anheuser Busch once brew beers that had some flavor to them? emacgee (1892), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 28, 2007 This is pretty much a typical lager, but a bit better than all the other regular domestics to me. This is probably the best thing budweiser has to offer. fro2218 (466), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

| 0.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Sep 27, 2007 Pours a clear yellow color with a small white head. The scent is of a light lager beer. A very fizzy beer. Cybercat (819), Georgia, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Sep 23, 2007 It is a typical yellowish-amber like any number of American lagers. Aroma is not strong and just a little malty. Flavor is OK, better than other mega-brewed light lagers, but that is not saying much! Smooth, not complex, it is a good party beer but not much fun for a serious connoisseur. badnloose (99), North Hollywood, California, USA
| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Sep 16, 2007 Tastes like water, but not in the bad way. No distinct smell, and doesn’t look terrible. Not much to say pro or con. Derek881 (502), Frederick, Maryland, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Sep 13, 2007 Sampled from the bottle. The color is a clear gold, with a very small white head. It’s aroma is mostly hops, a bit of adjuncts, corny and grainy hops, basically no hops. The flavor is mostly sour, with some bitterness; not sweet at all. Not bad on the palate, some decent fizzyness, but fairly light and smooth. I think I may actually prefer regular Bud to this beer, but I wonder if there is even a difference.
