After Bud and Bud Light I wasnt expecting much, but it unlike the others, was not bad. Has the same yellow color, but the flavor is less harsh and the after taste is manageable. I would say this is the best AB product I’ve had so far. Would consider buying, if on sale. trokini (1027), San Diego, California, USA

But come on, if you’re going to call yourself "Select," at least taste like something other than Bud Light. detroiter (958), Euphoria, Minnesota, USA

After drinking better beers for the past couple decades, I can honestly say this beer looks sickly. Thin white head disappears almost instantly. Seriously bad American macrolager aroma.
Very dry and thin cereal grain flavor. Nothing else. They call it clean and refreshing - I call it empty and disgusting. Mouthfeel similar to carbonated water, which is fine for water, but not for beer. This tastes like a Wheaties flavored carbonated water. blinesam (233), USA

This is because its a beer marketed as "select" which you would think is better than the regular bud. However, "select" must mean "scraps" beause that is what the beer tastes like even compared to bud. Good thing it costs about the same. Just as an example of how bad it is, it sat in my college dorm room for about 2 weeks before anyone touched it...yah....that bad. MadIndian (997), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

In fact, I’ll take this over bud lite. Why, because it has less carbonation, little to not taste, and no aftertaste. I can drink this one all night and still feel skinny in the morning. Can’t complain with that when its time to hit the bottle hard. cperry8483 (41), Platteville, Wisconsin, USA

For free, I can’t complain, but I’d never pay money for this crap. graham515 (427), Houston, Texas, USA
