Oct 8, 2006 WTF is this?? I say, this is just regular bud with a flashy label and an upscale marketing schtik. Really, I could tell no difference between this and regular bud, except maybe this doesnt taste as "chemical." Still a bad beer.

Oct 2, 2006 I gave this a slightly higher rating than the other AB products, because, well, I like it. For an ultra light beer, its refreshing, and has a good taste. Its crisp and refreshing, with a clean finish. Good for hot weather.

Sep 30, 2006 12 oz bottle. Well, it IS slightly better than standard Bud. Yellowy gold with a white head. Weak ass watery malt flavor, seems almost devoid of hops. Select? Whatever.

Sep 22, 2006 SHMEDLEY BEER TASTING 09-16-2006 Budweiser Select was the winner of our blind taste testing of 11 macros. That is not really saying much, but it did stand head and shoulders over Bud, Bud Ice, MGD, Labatt Ice, Molson Ice, Coors, Becks Light, Tecate, Amarit, and Heinekin Light. It had very light amber notes in its mostly yellow body, and there was a slight straw malt note in there. One thing it did have was a somewhat stable white head. I think I even tasted a hop.

Sep 16, 2006 I hate Budweiser, dont care much for Bud Light.... however this Bud Select tastes nothing like either of them. I am 36 and have stuck with the same beer for 15 years... until now. When I first tasted Bud Select (for free), I was totally impressed. Great Flavor and no bad aftertaste , unlike budweiser, makes Bud Select my current favorite beer of choice. Good Job AB!!!!

Sep 13, 2006 Draught. Clear golden color with foamy white head that left some lace on the glass. Light sprucy hop nose with a hint of pineapple. The piney hops are less prominent in the flavor. There is a subdued malty caramel note that lingers briefly at the end. Very watery. Eh.
