This beer is based more on a trend for the carb counters than anything else. Although not totally worth counting out. Drank it again just recently but definitely not my favorite.

Goes down easy, which is its high point. Has very little taste overall and no after taste. If anything there was a little corn flavor on its way down. I guess it does whats advertised, but not something I’m going to pick up on my own.

Worse than Michelob Ultra. And that is really saying something. I felt like I should be D.D. when I was drinking this.

Worst of the low carb beers I’ve to date. Pour yourself a half pint of bud, add two parts water, one part seltzer, and stir. There’s your extra long brewed bud select.

I realize this beer was a marketing gimmick to begin with, but even from the tap this is just terrible, bland at first, then a sickly corny, maybe the worst tasting beer in the A-B line, if you’re on a diet, you are better off giving up beer than drinking this swill. Avoid when possible.

Clearly the best of the "big box" factory low carb/lite beers. Above average flavor if served ice cold. Not a serious beer and certainly not a beer you’d "brag" about in a taste comparison, but throughly competent for what it is -- a big volume, mass produced lite beer.

I must be a "homer". Bud Select from that World famous brewery headquartered in St. Louis, MO is a very simple brew that does it’s job. It offers a clean taste and is very refreshing on a hot and humid St. Louis summer day (or night)! For all you "beer snobs" try drinking one of your Dark, Warm, Thick, Lagers during a day game at Busch Stadium then see how an Icy Cold Bud Select tastes! Go Cards!
