| 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/20 | Aug 27, 2006 This beer is based more on a trend for the carb counters than anything else. Although not totally worth counting out. Drank it again just recently but definitely not my favorite. Capa (983), Yokosuka, Japan
| 0.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Aug 27, 2006 Goes down easy, which is its high point. Has very little taste overall and no after taste. If anything there was a little corn flavor on its way down. I guess it does whats advertised, but not something I’m going to pick up on my own. adamnfineman (53), Springfield, Oregon, USA

Pour yourself a half pint of bud, add two parts water, one part seltzer, and stir. There’s your extra long brewed bud select. jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA

beer in the A-B line, if you’re on a diet, you are better off giving up beer than drinking this swill. Avoid when possible. motor725 (1), USA does not count | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 7, 2006 Clearly the best of the "big box" factory low carb/lite beers. Above average flavor if served ice cold. Not a serious beer and certainly not a beer you’d "brag" about in a taste comparison, but throughly competent for what it is -- a big volume, mass produced lite beer. Bud Select from that World famous brewery headquartered in St. Louis, MO is a very simple brew that does it’s job. It offers a clean taste and is very refreshing on a hot and humid St. Louis summer day (or night)!
For all you "beer snobs" try drinking one of your Dark, Warm, Thick, Lagers during a day game at Busch Stadium then see how an Icy Cold Bud Select tastes!
