beer in the A-B line, if you’re on a diet, you are better off giving up beer than drinking this swill. Avoid when possible. motor725 (1), USA does not count | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 7, 2006 Clearly the best of the "big box" factory low carb/lite beers. Above average flavor if served ice cold. Not a serious beer and certainly not a beer you’d "brag" about in a taste comparison, but throughly competent for what it is -- a big volume, mass produced lite beer. Bud Select from that World famous brewery headquartered in St. Louis, MO is a very simple brew that does it’s job. It offers a clean taste and is very refreshing on a hot and humid St. Louis summer day (or night)!
For all you "beer snobs" try drinking one of your Dark, Warm, Thick, Lagers during a day game at Busch Stadium then see how an Icy Cold Bud Select tastes!

I’d love to put these beer snobs through some blind tastings. Don’t get me wrong, this is a bad beer. Plain and simple. Licorice, cleaning product and water being the primary flavors. I actually thought something was wrong with me. Did my tastebuds burn off. There is no flavor. But there are lot of other beers out there that are far worse. I am torn on how to rate this. I want to give it a 0.5, but on the other hand, it’s too watery to be really offensive. I’ve had seltzer water with more flavor than this.
