Apr 29, 2006 Well it wasn’t as awful as I was dreading. Though there is little to report about this stuff. There is nothing to it , it is not offensive, but again there is nothing there.

Apr 28, 2006 24 oz can. I don’t know what they selected but it tastes like a Bud with some more character on the can. Watery, cidery body, no aroma. The non-existent flavour is perfectly balanced by the 4 IBUs of whatever hop oil they use. Pretty crappy, and yet, I finished the can.

Apr 26, 2006 Very clear yellow with a merangue like head that dissipates very quickly. Smells awfully, kind of like wet cardboard, its a very unique smell. I’ve had bottled water with more taste than this, it tastes like flavorless carbonated water, which I have always claimed has a slight taste. Slightly fizzy mouthfeel. I think I’ll avoid this beer. If you’re worried about calories and carbs, there are much tastier things to drink. I gave this one point for not killing me.

Apr 25, 2006 Updated: Aug 8, 2006this beer is the long awaited competition for miller lite because it tastes very similiar but better. Small creamy white head and very light, a must for light beer drinkers.

Apr 23, 2006 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Pilsener golden with a creamy, white head. Sweetish aroma of brewing cereal. Light and watery with sweetish notes of chicken fodder. No hops - of course. Is the "Select" term just a way of selling the same crap at a higher price? This is proof that wrapping a turd in glittering cellophane doesn’t necessarily make an acceptable package. Apr 23, 2006 This is probably the only version of Budweiser I really like. It’s smooth and finishes clean with no aftertaste. It’s not a beer you drink for strong flavor. I get the feeling some people on here have to be overwhelmed by strong and complex flavors to enjoy a beer. This one is just plain pleasant tasting to me, nothing more, nothing less. To me, it feels like Budweiser’s version of Coors Light only with a bit more flavor. I happen to like Coors light so it’s certainly something I don’t mind drinking. Sometimes simplicity is more refreshing.

Apr 22, 2006 Am I drinking beer, or alka seltzer?? It can’t be alka seltzer, because my stomach is even MORE upset after injesting this paler than Casper, tasteless swill. $15.00 US for a case is a rip off. Budweiser asks me to "Select"?? I choose the toilet in which to dump it. Many apologies to my sewer system.
