24 oz can at the beach today. You know the golden appearance and watery pale lagerish aroma and watery fizzy palate, but I found this to be much better than I remembered. It is still crap, but as I sort of forgot about it and it warmed up I was picking up some hops in there and a bit of a tangyness that was pretty refreshing in the hot sun.

Clear yellow, small white head. Tastes of fruit (bananas). The "Great American Lager" that isn’t great or even American anymore. Maybe American style lager. I would hate for the rest of the world to think that our best lager is this beer.

The King of Beers is just that: an easy to drink typical lager. Nothing special just easy to drink. Pours yellow, small head, goes down smooth with a balance of sweet and bitter. Nothing special but not really anything bad.

Real-man beer. Taste ties to memories, so if you lead a boring life, you’re rating this one low. Americana in a can. Sack up.

Bottle born on 14AUG08. Pale yellow color with a weak head. Aroma of grass, skunk and corn. Taste is fruity, almost green apple like, and very corny. A little bready. Thin.

Ok.. I’m going to give this an HONEST impression! Here goes... Slight nose of hops and corn. Highly carbonated. Thin white head which dissolves quickly. Bubbly mouthfeel of sparkling water. Taste of grass & water and not much else. Goes down easy. Almost no aftertaste. I can drink one of these so fast I’ll forget I drank it. This is a good kegstand beer! (boy, those were the days...)

Appearance: Crystal clear, pale yellow body with a thin, fizzy, white head. Smell: Light pale malt nose with notes of corn -- even with an entire pitcher there’s really not much there at all. Taste: Weak palt malts with a taste of sweet corn and two-day old saltines. No real hop character or bitterness. Finishes crisp and watery. Mouthfeel: Thin-bodied. Medium-high carbonation. Drinkability: Pretty tasteless and empty -- just another typical macro.
