It reminds me so much of the soda taps once all the corn-syrupy gook is gone out of the bag, and the carbonated water still has the remnant tastes of the empty soda bag. They can’t even get a gimmick that says their water is out of a mountain or something.
What really pisses me off, is its pricing in the STL market. It’s up there with some much better imported beers around 11 per 12pack. The gall! They must be making a killing if you figure in their low transport costs. But at the end of it all, we know that the company could care less as long as their goose’s shit has a gold-tinge. gkao007 (28), Jersey City, New Jersey, USA

Absolute embarrassment. There is no flavor.
It’s carbonated water with a speck of bitterness.
I’ve seen bartenders poke fun at Bud by spraying a pint class 1/8th with any random pilsner and then topping it off with water.
It tastes exactly like Budweiser. floyderdc (2), , Maryland, USA does not count | 0.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Aug 5, 2008 This tasted like water with ’beer flavour added" My least favourite of all macro world-wide.
Smell of bitter grass and corn, no hops.

It’s been at least 10 years since I had a Bud, so here it goes. I find it quite refreshing but not because of any flavor, but because of it’s lack of flavor and lack of anything that could be construed as harsh; consistency of water with some yeast, starch and malt flavoring. It goes down easily for sure. I guess that I can understand it’s appeal to a broad audience. westknife (17), USA

The lowest possible rating (except, I suppose, a goose egg). Having lived in China for almost a month now, I can say honestly that there are plenty of beers far worse than this. Budweiser has a few things going for it - it’s drinkable, for one. It’s mildly pleasant tasting. Trust me, these are not universal qualities of beer. When I go out to eat here, and I see Budweiser on the beer list, I rejoice and fork over a little extra dough for the "imported" bottle. Lesson: don’t take anything for granted. Slight pale malt aroma with some corn and a touch? of hops. Clear light straw color well carbonated with large fluffy white head that disspates fairly rapidy. Light pale malt and corn flavor with dry slightly carbonic finish. Hop flavor id practically unnoticable. Bitterness is enough to balance the malt. Clean, crisp, refreshing, tastless. | 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Jul 28, 2008 Can. Very clear, transparent, golden color with a non-existent head. No real aroma, I guess a little corn. Sweet creamed corn flavor with absolutely no bitterness. No hops whatsoever. Thin, watery, fizzy body. No finish.
