The aroma was grapefruit with some peanuts. The taste was bitter grapefruit with some peanut shells. There was a clean, hoppy finish. Very good for the style. vyvvy (2044), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 3, 2009 Pours brown / copper with a sudsy head. The aroma has citrus / orange / tropical fruit hops and some toasty malt - very clean. It has a medium grainy body that is lightly harsh with nice carbonation. The flavor starts dry and woody with some pine and a bit on the papery side. The malt is very faint and could use a bit more for some balance. The finish has dirty earthy hops. A decent beer. dm9831 (1167), Monee, Illinois, USA
