| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 18, 2009 Bottle. Mine says 7.5% ABV. A near jet-black pour with a HUGE and fluffy mocha head. Lots of blueberries in the toasty aroma. Vanilla beans and dark chocolate in there too. Medium-bodied. Sweet/tangy blueberries upfront taste-wise. Chocolate flavors follow. Finishes with some roasty malty notes. Not too shabby. StFun (534), Indiana, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 17, 2009 Dud. Pours brown with no real head or lacing. Aroma has a touch of blueberry, but mostly just a lot of carbonation. This comes through in the flavor as well; mostly a muddled mess or blueberry, fizz, and dirt. Not a fan. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jan 15, 2009 Fizzy dark brown pour. Aroma of chocolate covered blueberries. Blueberries and roast and bitter chocolate on the palate, but unfortunately not enough malt to balance the berry fruit dominance. On the thin side. jeff789 (422), Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 10, 2009 12 oz bottle from Enniskillen. Nose is blueberries, coffee, some light sweetness, and some flowery hops. Clear, very dark brown with a small beige head. Flavor is slightly sweet blueberries and chocolate with a bitter soapy note. Not nearly as good as the Big Sky Slow Elk Oatmeal Stout I had last night. Drinkable but a little sweet and the odd soapiness. TheBeerOrg (1589), Kentucky, USA
