Smells strongly of Blueberries or a bluberry Yankee candle, which to me is a plus, but other than that, not much else shows through. light malt and blueberry flavor, hints of oats and vanilla. meh. golubj (1289), Sunnyvale, California, USA

Aroma is sweet blueberries and some dark malt. Flavor is the same, overly sweet, good amount of blueberry. alexanderj (2269), Chino Hills, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 3, 2009 From a bottle at the brewpub. Generously overed by our waitress. Enjoyed with golubj. Aroma of blueberry, oatmeal, roasted malt and cocoa. I said this was really darn good, like a homo. Blueberry, orasted malt and oatmel. Surprisingly good. Metalhead (571), Lake Zurich, Illinois, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 2, 2009 Dark chocolate covered blueberries with the afore mentioned blueberry hand soap in the aroma. Belches up blueberry syrup. Strange and interesting beer but not one I would more than once in a great while. edfitz (114), Toledo, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 31, 2008 12 oz bottle. Strong smell of blueberry. Tastes like blueberry with dark chocolate finish. It really is a blueberry stout. It is a very strange combination, but really isn’t too bad. I expected it to be a disaster and I am pleasantly surprised. | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Dec 30, 2008 12oz bottle, contract brewed by pyramid and 7.5%abv. Black in the glass, with too light beige of a head. Blueberry hand-soap, syrupy aroma with a hint of dark chocolate. Quite sharply alcoholic and sweet, with a huge blueberry syrup sweetness. Mild roastiness is mostly covered up. Medium-full body and a bit sticky; heavy. Blueberry syrup and alcohol dominate this one, to pretty dismal ends. foosnbrews (38), Parker, Colorado, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 28, 2008 Beer poors dark with very little head and no lacing on the glass. Aroma is only of the fruit which definately comes through. The bitterness that comes through in the beer is from the dark malts which have an interesting interaction with the blueberry flavor. The overall blueberry flavor comes through as I drink the beer. Overall the beer is OK and would be easy to drink a few. FROTHINGSLOSH (2025), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 28, 2008 Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a black color with a medium sized brown head. The aroma was sweet blueberry muffin. The flavor was roasty, malty and had a strong blueberry note and a tangy and bitter finish. Interesting.
